About the Role

As a Team Leader at Securitas, you will help create strong teams, where your engagement and ability to lead with care and clarity make a real difference – both for your colleagues and our customers.

We are currently looking for a Team Leader for our office in Gävle. At your core, you work as a security guard, but your task is also to ensure that your team has the right conditions to carry out daily work in the best possible way. The work schedule is Monday–Friday, with working hours from 07:00–16:00.

In this role, you work with both operational and administrative tasks within the operations department. You are responsible for patrol operations and can respond to alarms or support other functions if needed. You handle system-related issues such as permissions and access, monitor daily production, and maintain ongoing customer contact. You update instructions, plan assignments, and manage keys. The role involves significant collaboration, handling deviations, and customer contact, including participation in certain meetings and the launch of new assignments. It is a system-intensive role where you have the opportunity to gradually build your competence.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Lead and plan the daily work for our patrol assignments in a structured and inclusive manner
• Participate in staffing optimization
• Act as the local link between the customer and colleagues, ensuring the right deployment based on the assignment
• Ensure that our policies are followed and that we jointly maintain high quality in our work

Requirements

We place great importance on your personality and your ability to handle a varied and sometimes intense daily life. You have an interest in working with systems and a desire to understand, test, and develop, even when the work feels complex. You are structured and good at juggling several parallel tasks, where attention to detail and planning are a natural part of your working method. At the same time, you keep your cool when many things happen at once, make thoughtful prioritizations, and ensure that work moves forward. You are confident in yourself and your decisions, can explain them clearly and pedagogically, and have the ability to create trust in dialogue with others – even when opinions differ.

In addition to your personal qualities, we also look for the following required qualifications:

• You are trained as a security guard (at least VU2)
• You have experience as a security guard in patrol operations
• You have approved grades in Swedish from high school
• Swedish citizenship
• Category B driver's license

We also consider it meritorious if you

• are trained as a bodyguard or order guardian (with valid appointment)
• have professional experience from the security industry
• have training in leadership (e.g., team leader training)
• have completed the training Environment for Team Leaders (AFG)

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from the first year of high school in Swedish and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
